• Before first use, pieces should be washed with soapy water and allowed to air dry. To maintain the integrity of the pieces (i.e., colour, glaze), dishwasher use is not recommended.

• The base of jugs, pitchers and mugs may initially sweat. This is normal, and will decrease over time and with continued use. Please protect delicate surfaces that may be affected by water marks. If using a pitcher or jug as a vase, please protect delicate surfaces and change water daily.

• Hand washing is recommended

• All our pieces are handmade and hand-painted. Some marks in the glaze are natural and expected, as is some crazing. This will not affect the use or durability of the pieces.

• Not oven safe. Microwave is suggested only for brief reheating, not cooking.

• For long-term storage, please ensure the pieces are completely dry before putting them away. In this case, we recommend storing pieces upside-down in a well-ventilated area.

Our blanket company weaves and brushes the blankets on traditional machinery in the hills north of Lisbon.
